Senior Consultant

Bruce is a Senior Consultant with Supply Chain Alliance Partners and has over 15 years experience in the field of logistics. Bruce's specialty is in the area of Logistics Optimization and Transportation. Bruce's professional designation as a Chartered Accountant provides a unique perspective when working with clients in their logistics areas from a financial reporting and data management view.

Previous to his consulting career, Bruce's corporate roles included holding senior supply chain positions at PepsiCo Inc., one of the world's premier consumer packaged goods companies. At PepsiCo, Bruce managed the supply chain operations of the Canadian restaurant division and helped establish PepsiCo food service distribution operations in Australia, Mexico and Puerto Rico. During his 13 year career at PepsiCo, he also held a variety of leadership roles in Finance and Operations.

As a consultant with SCAP, Bruce has worked with a number of high profile North American clients. With a major appliance manufacturer, his guidance helped the company achieve savings of over $3.2 million by restructuring the manufacturer's transportation operations across 11 seperate projects. Bruce was the Project Manager for a national dairy company on a number of initiatives, including transportation strategy, planning and optimization, RFP process management and 3PL storage consolidation. Bruce also worked on a number of projects for an automotive parts distributor including orchestrating a RFP process that yielded a 39% cost savings, as well as leading the design and implementation of a 3PL-operated dedicated delivery system. He helped a national MRO (Maintenance, Repairs and Operations) distributor overhaul their U.S. and domestic-based inbound freight program, resulting in reduced in-transit variability and improved order visibility while lowering transportation costs by 8%.

Bruce is a graduate of the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Accountant. He is a member of the SCM Advisory Board at the Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning and has spoken at a number of events on such topics as Warehouse Operations & Design and Trends in 3rd Party Logistics.
