Mike Powell is a Senior Consultant with Supply Chain Alliance Partners and has over 30 years of supply chain experience in both executive management and business consultancy roles. He has a proven track record of innovative achievement in the supply chain industry. Mike’s vision and drive has been demonstrated through leadership positions held in both US and UK retailing. For the last 5 years he has been delivering step increases in supply chain performance for multiple North American clients.

As Senior Vice President, Supply Chain at Shaw’s Supermarkets in Boston, he successfully managed the integration of distribution and logistics operations following the acquisition of Star Markets. Previously, he led the supply chain at the second largest UK home improvement chain and also at a leading UK grocery retailer, J. Sainsbury PLC.

Mike specializes in the rapid assessment and delivery of improvement in supply chain performance, particularly in transportation and warehouse operations. His recent consulting clients include CVS Pharmacy, Schnucks Markets, H.E. Butt, Save-a-Lot, Advance Auto Parts, PetsMart and Food Lion. He recently successfully completed a global logistics engagement with Wal-Mart.
