Workshop Leaders:

Bill Hunt -  Bill is an accomplished executive who has built strong contributing organizations during his 30 years of Supply Chain leadership. Bill has displayed a unique capability for assessing opportunities, and leading the transition to a higher level of Supply Chain effectiveness at Parmalat, General Mills, Pillsbury, Borden Foods and Procter and Gamble.  Bill believes that the focal point for supply chain transformation is effective planning – balancing demand, supply and inventory through a disciplined S&OP process. Making this transformation results in higher service to customers and the opportunity to grow the top line. In addition, the alignment of key stakeholders to a common plan removes ambiguity and complexity and reduces costs. Having led the implementation of S&OP, Bill has seen first hand the dramatic impact on results.

John Latosinszky - John is a manufacturing and supply chain executive who has more than 25 years of experience delivering process improvement in the food, beverage, health science and consumer products industries. He has led S&OP implementations, and held functional responsibilities for sales forecasting and S&OP facilitation with companies including Procter & Gamble, Parmalat and Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee. His broad supply chain experience includes design and development of sales forecasting methodologies and creating inventory and supply strategies that have delivered category leading customer service levels, while managing inventory, labour and asset utilization.

Gord MacGougan - Gord is a supply chain professional with over 20 years of operational experience in both small business and large multi-nationals. He has a breadth of experience that includes confectionary, baking and telecommunications.  Gord was an integral part of Cadbury’s S&OP initiative. He implemented formal production and capacity planning which led to significant reduction in inventory levels while maintaining high customer service. Gord’s passion and energy has been infectious and lead to the development of high performance teams focused on results through the use of best practice and leveraging system functionality. He has spoken at the APICS International Conference on implementing S&OP in a small business and presented an S&OP blueprint at Cadbury’s international Manufacturing Best Practices Conference, in Europe.
