We will never take lightly the role that our sponsors have designated to us in a project in support of our sponsors’ goals. We are very proud of the trusting and valued relationships we have formed with those executives and key stakeholders in our client companies.

We have done a number of projects with SCAP during 2008 and 2009.  I have found them to have a great blend of creativity, strategic capability and down to earth practicality.  We have acted on their recommendations and fundamentally improved our supply chain performance both from an availability and cost perspective.  SCA's key strength is their ability to develop  theoretically sound concepts and then translate them into clear action plans that yield the desired outcomes.

“SCAP has a unique difference versus other consulting firms we have used before. They are truly strategic partners in that we never once felt like we were in a “transactional” model with them. Their deep operational acumen enables them to determine what appropriate strategic and tactical steps need to be taken, while transferring knowledge to our internal team and demonstrating their commitment in doing the right thing"

Director Supply Chain & Information Technology

At ACCO Brands, we have engaged with SCAP on two different projects, one in the area of freight management and the other in the area of warehouse operations.  In both cases I was very pleased with the results.  SCAP seems to be a different kind of consulting organization. Their people are operators. They know the real world and hence provide practical achievable advice and assistance that deliver real results. The other aspect that has had a great impact on ACCO is how they transferred their knowledge to the players on my teams so that the increase in skills and abilities makes my drive towards operational excellence easier to achieve. Finally I find they tend to under commit and over achieve. In the case of the freight projects savings were projected to be $400k annually….we are trending towards $600k. In the case of the warehouse projects productivity increases of 15% were committed. While still not all confirmed we are certainly seeing weeks where the picking productivity increases are closer to 30%.

I would recommend SCAP to any organization that needs some operational and or strategic advice and assistance in order to drive their supply chain operations forward."

"Supply Chain Alliance gave us a great deal of support throughout the project. Their expertise was put to the test many times, but they always came up with the best solution. There’s no doubt in my mind that we could not have managed the SKU migration and the co-packers production planning in BPCS without their leadership. Job well done."

"As a fast growth business and a customized manufacturer we realized we needed to improve our overall operational performance. To ensure Sustainability of the Manufacturing Improvements key process metrics on Output, Downtime, and Scrap were put in place. At the same time we needed a better approach to overall Quality Assurance and Maintenance. We relied on the focused expertise of Supply Chain Alliance to provide the leadership and technical consulting support to our key managers in the operations area. We were extremely pleased with the results of their work and the positive impact they had in our business. "Over the last 18 months, Supply Chain Alliance has proved to be a great resource and business partner to Deeley-Harley Davidson® Canada. Although their primary focus is on supply chain, they have also provided us with excellent operations planning, and project management expertise and assistance. Their operational work covered areas such as process re-mapping, DC design, and transportation. They had noteworthy success in helping us change the way our Retailers order product from us, and they supported the evolution of the way we manage that part of our business. This initiative has had great benefits in both reducing operating costs and increasing service to our Retailers. We intend to use their services again."

Rick Hanna
VP & Chief Financial Officer

"Supply Chain Alliance has made a significant impact on the transportation component of our business. They have helped us realize a great opportunity and evolve the way we manage transportation in our Company. Working closely with us, they have developed a transportation program that will respond to meet the needs of our growing business from volume, service, and cost perspectives. SCA guided the effort to objectively and professionally engage the carrier community, and help us decide on a solution. Post implementation, we are enjoying substantial savings, along with a clear line of sight to the factors that drive our transportation costs. These savings, as compared to SCA’s professional fees, make the value of their services a great business proposition for us. We have developed a trusted working relationship with Supply Chain Alliance, and would happily turn to them for help with future projects where we could utilize their expertise and insight."

Stacey Arthur
Distribution Director
Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada

"We looked to SCA as we believed there was a better way for us to manage and leverage our outbound transportation expense and reduce a rising cost line but had difficulty making the progress we needed within the necessary timelines with internal resources. SCA took time to understand our business, pull the data together, made sense of our current volumes and costs and clearly indicated there was an opportunity for significant efficiencies. They professionally led an objective and rigorous process to engage the service provider community and helped us make a selection for a service provider solution. After 1 year of implementation the solution has easily exceeded our initial expectation for savings, which we have subsequently reinvested into our supply chain, to not only improve efficiencies, but ultimately service our customers with lower total delivery lead times. SCA continues to be a valuable supply chain and distribution partner and have proven to be experts in their discipline. Mazda Canada values SCA’s contribution to achieving our corporate objectives and would not hesitate to recommend them to any firm seeking an honest, and diligent partner."

Yves Bigras, Manager
Parts Operations, Logistics, Transportation

“We engaged Supply Chain Alliance to introduce a fully integrated Supply Chain Management approach in our company. The SCA team was fully accountable to implement progressive supply chain management concepts and to achieve bottom-line improvements.

SCA was successful in establishing a first stage of cross-functional integration that previously had not existed in our company. We have already achieved substantial cost reductions plus improved sales results through shorter lead times and a higher level of customer service performance. There is still a long way to go, but SCA has helped establish a solid base from which we can continue to move forward.”

Our team works well with SCA’s people, who seek to and can understand our business. Combined with SCA’s client-focused service approach, we have received outstanding results from their work.
