Whirlpool Canada awarded SCL's President's Award for SCM Leadership

At the SCL Annual Conference held in April, Whirlpool Canada was awarded the esteemed President's Award for 2009.

The President's Award, which is given to an individual, group or company that has demonstrated vision, leadership and strategic thinking within the supply chain industry, went to Whirlpool Canada for its supply chain transformation after acquiring Maytag-- a process that saw the company consolidate 13 distribution facilities into three in one year.

Supply Chain Alliance Partners played a key role in this transformation.
